This event will bring together organizations that provide home visitation services with FLOURISH’s home visitation consumer advisory board to build relationships and begin to develop a model where consumers and providers co-design home visitation programs that are family-centered.

This event invites participation from organizations providing home visitation services and the intended audience includes staff who coordinate intake, home visitors and program leadership.

The agenda will include opportunities for providers and consumers to share and reflect upon their experiences with home visitation services in St. Louis and how these experiences can help to strengthen home visitation for families in St. Louis. Workshop topics will include:

• Effective communication
• Empathy
• Building strong relationships
• Understanding mandatory reporting

This event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the Reading Village, an event scheduled for June 27^th at Carondelet Park Rec Complex. The Reading Village will attract local families to learn more about available home visitation programs. Organizations interested in participating will be able to get more information about how to sign up and take part in planning this event.
